Demystifying the grant application process featuring Melody Hernandez (Nonprofit Grant Consultant), Margo Melcon (Zellerbach Family Foundation) and Jonell Molina, Ed.D. (SF Arts Commission).  This workshop is designed to provide artists with an overview of the grant application process and offer tips for crafting successful grant proposals.

During this workshop, our panel of experienced grant writers and reviewers will cover the following topics:

1. Understanding the grant landscape: We will discuss the different types of grants available to artists, including government grants, private foundation grants, and individual donor grants. 

2. Crafting a compelling grant proposal: Our panelists will provide tips for writing a successful grant proposal, including how to effectively communicate your artistic vision, how to present your experience and qualifications, and how to create a realistic budget.

3. Q&A session: We will reserve time at the end of the workshop for questions from the audience. Our panelists will be available to answer any questions you have about the grant application process and offer personalized advice on specific grant questions.
