Ouida — Soft EP Release & Listening Party
Friday, December 16th
CAST SF — 447 Minna Street
San Francisco, CA 94103
About the event
Ouida's debut EP -- Come Rain, Come Shine -- is an intimate narration of grief, impermanence and resilience. Drawing elements from Soul, Jazz and Alternative R&B, the songs document various stages in navigating life after loss -- detailing chapters of isolation, dissociation and anger; striving to see beauty in small things; finding meaning and solace in simple truths; and the process of reclaiming one's narrative. Featuring a 5-piece band, this performance will be the first live translation of the EP and an opportunity to share stories behind its making.
