WHERE’S THE BEEF? FILIPINO FOOD GOES VEGAN IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM.

Chef Reina Montenegro of Nick’s Kitchen presents her revolutionary vegan Filipino dinner on Tuesday, March 24th for baysia.

Her vegan interpretations are paving the way for healthier alternatives to classic dishes like sisig quiche and Asian sticky “ribs” that will win over any carnivore.


Setting

Dine in a secret pop-up art gallery in an UNDSCVRD location of SOMA Pilipinas.


Menu


  • Sisig Quiche

  • “Pork” Dumplings in Sinigang Tamarind Soup

  • Green Papaya, Cucumber, and Tomato Sup

  • Asian Sticky “Ribs” served on a bed of Kangkong Adobo and a side of Garlic Rice


    Dessert

  • Cinnamon Sugar Taco stuffed with sweet mango, coconut ice cream, and slivered almonds
