ABOUT ASTRALOGIK
AstraLogik is a Queer Pinay musical duo established in Bay Area, California. Their chill-folk-electronic-soul music is shaped by their story of redefining what “success” and “happiness” means, especially through their lens as Filipino-American, a Queer Couple, Healers, survivors of violence and homelessness. Charito (the Singer) centers expression from trauma & mental health - while Rowenalyn “Chen” (the Guitarist) centers her expression from energetic and holistic body awareness. AstraLogik also explores sonic expression through Soundbaths, DJ-ing, Minimalism & Decolonization. These mediums alongside performance, allows them to embody ongoing conversation as they seek pathways to be in more empathetic and compassionate relationships with the diverse communities they navigate.
