WORKSHOP HOST

My name is Francis Garcia. I was born and raised here in the Bay Area. In 2018, I graduated

with a Bachelor’s in Cinema at SF State. I have always been passionate for the many forms of

visual arts. I’m a Baybayin artist and an avid practitioner of Filipino Martial Arts. As a Filipino

American Artist in the Bay Area, my goal is to help educate and bring awareness to the

numerous cultural practices of the Philippines through my art and media.
