Kim Requesto, a Dance Master in Parangal Dance Company and a dance apprentice to Kalinga Master Artist Jenny Bawer Young, will lead a workshop focused on traditional dances from Kalinga. Attendees will learn about the traditional dances of Kalinga and the background behind these dances.

A panel with Drama Del Rosario, the director of the documentary film "In This Family", and Dr. Anthony Ocampo, a sociologist and author of "The Latinos of Asia: How Filipino Americans Break the Rules of Race".
2:30 PM PST Destigmatizing Mental Health with Filipino Mental Health Initiative-SF
Through capacity building, outreach, and engagement in the Filipino Community, the Filipino Mental Health Initiative of San Francisco strives to reduce stigma, promote awareness, and increase access to culturally appropriate wellness services in San Francisco. In this workshop, FMHI-SF Program Coordinator Verma Soria Zapanta will lead community members in a brief grounding exercise, discuss the importance of destigmatizing mental health, and the value of our collective wellness in the Filipinx American community.
